Barcelona midfielder Pedri was all smiles after scoring twice in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga at Montjuic.
The victory means Xavi’s side are guaranteed second spot in the league, and Pedri was happy to get the job done.
“We are happy to get second place. It’s not a great season but we wanted to get to the Super Cup,” he said afterwards.
“The truth is that when I came on I entered the game very badly. I lost several balls that I shouldn’t lose, but well the two goals of course make you happy and then you finish the game with much more confidence.
