Eric Martinez Second Ever Men's Track and Field Athlete to Earn Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week
MORAGA, Calif. - The Sophomore from San Dimas California, Eric Martinez, won his first Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week award for the week of January 24th after winning the mile at the Portland Indoor Invitational this past Sunday.
Martinez was the first out of 32 competitors to finish the mile with a time of 4:21.14. He paced the Gaels in the event, with four of his teammates trailing him taking second through fifth place.
