The Patriots are building towards their future in the 2024 NFL Draft, and with their first two selections, they put together a new young quarterback-receiver duo.
New England took UNC QB Drake Maye third overall on Thursday night, and followed it up with WR Ja’Lynn Polk as their 37th overall selection.
During his introductory Zoom call with media members, Polk seemed overjoyed to be drafted alongside Maye and play with him in New England.
“The guy’s electric. He goes out there and he’s able to make plays for his team. He’s a great guy, an awesome player,” Polk said of Maye.
